Cleaning materials can be dangerous

We all know that cleaning materials can be hazardous to your health. It’s a given that chemicals made to burn all those dirty marks off your walls, floors and other miscellaneous household places will need to be strong abrasives that can, quite literally, do the job.

The problem comes in when you use cleaning materials that do not supply all the pertinent information on the packaging. Did you know, for instance, that the chemical companies that produce household cleaners are only forced to warn if they contain substances that are directly and immediately harmful? Chemicals which will burn your eyes or irritate your skin. Did you also know that they have free license to leave out information about long-term chemicals that can be harmful to your health, such as certain carcinogens. So if something in their product can give you cancer after prolonged use... they don’t need to put it on the label!

The issue here is this... always be extremely careful of what products you buy. It is better to find a smaller company that gives full disclosure of all of the chemicals and stays away from terribly cheap and harmful stuff like carcinogens.

Always be wary - if you have problems later on in life... you’ll only have yourself to blame.

Hydrodemolition – the best industrial concrete cleaning method available

Cleaning concrete can be difficult. It is very difficult to clean it off properly. Ask anyone who has tried to do it with a hammer and chisel. However, modern methods of cleaning it are far better, far quicker and far more accurate the what was available in the past.

In today’s world, industry requires anything to be done as quick and as cheaply as possible. The amount of concrete that needs to be cleaned up (or out of) industrial complexes is staggering and the old method just doesn’t work properly. It is too expensive and too labour-intensive. It takes too long and does not offer the same precision as as modern methods.

One such method is hydrodemolition. It is done by using high pressure jets of water as an abrasive to clean the concrete from various areas where it is in need of cleaning. There are times when water is scarce and then a different method is used, though very similar. It is called UHP waterjetting and is a method that takes into consideration water scarcity.

Simply put, there is no reason to go with any other method of cleaning concrete. Hydrodemolition is the best available industrial cleaning method and nothing can beat it!
